TO DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Bev. D. C. Bates, of the' Meteorological Office, this evening wired as follows: — The barometer is now very high everywhere, and moderate to strong south-easterly winds have prevailed, with cold and changeable weather, but fair to cloudy conditions have predominated. present indications are for fair to cloudy .weather generally; dull, misty, and foggy at times in many parts of the country. Moderate to strong easterly winds, veering -to increasing northerlies, after about 16 hours, when the barometer will probably, fall everywhere.
