MAN DONE TO DEATH. A CHARGE OF MURDER. {By T Association A AUCKLAND,^Lait Night. A fight took place this afternoon on the Harbour Board's pile-driving pontoon, as a result of which Manuel Santos died from, injuries received, and Harold Gladstone Brown is in custody, charged with wilful murder. The fight was a fierce • one according to an eye witness, and Santos finished up in the water. He was rescued but died soon afterwards. The deceased was a native of the Ladrone Islands, and was married. He was 37 years of age, and leaves no family.
