CLEARING SALE. Messrs James Mcintosh and Co. report having held a very successful clearing sale at Carterton on Tuesday. April I.sth, when they sold the whole of Mr R. l'\ Latham's horses. Jiarnefis and implements. There was a very good attendance of buyers from all over the district, consequently bidding wa tS very 'brisk, and we are pleased to say everything sold well. Following are the prices realised.—Bay gelding Major £SO, bay gelding Nugget £-14, bay gelding Baklie £3B, bay gelding Prince £4O, hay mare Dolly £3l 10s, bay mare Mag £2B, bay mare Kate £24 10fi. Harness and implements were well competed iW; 1 and brought very satisfactory prices.
