TODAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Qffioe, this evening wired as follows:—> The barometer has risen high in the north, with moderate to strong southerly winds and cold weather, ■with a general improvement to-day. Present indications are for fair to cloudy weather, and after a cold night somewhat wanner weather conditions may follow; unsettled and cloudy in the northern and southernmost districts shortly, and a falling Ija 10meter, especially in the south. The winds are variable, but moderate to strong westerlies predominating over the North Island, and increasing noriherlies elsewhere.
