DRIVERS' FEDERATION.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) , CHRISTOHURCH, Last Night, At the Drivers' Federation Conference, an uniform get of rules, to apply to all the Unions affiliated, was adopted. It was resolved "that the Drivers' Federation Executive convene a conference of representatives of all organisations engaged in transport work prepared to initiate a transport workers' department, or federation, on Saturday, June 28th, at Wellington." This date was fixed upon to enable representatives of the transport workers' organisations to clis■euss the proposition prior to the meeting of the Unity Congress.
