NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. I>. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, thia evening wired as follows: — The winds have been variable, easterly breezes predominating in the north, and .northerlies in the south. Fair weather has prevailed, but showers have fallen about East Cap? -and in Foveaux Strait. The barometei has fallen slightly. Present, indications are for fair to cloudy weather ireniM-ally, with increasing haze and mistiness! especially on the coast in the southern districts, for a westerly disturbance apparently moving easterly acro-ss the Tasraan Sea,. Moderate to strong easterly winds probable in thenorth, and increasing mortherlies soon elsewhere. The barometer falling everywhere shortly.
