MANAWATU RACES. AUTUMNUS WINS AGAIN. HANDICAP WON~~BY MULTIPLY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Last Night. The Manawatu Racing Club's Autumn meeting opened to-day in fine weather. The going was good, and the racing interesting. The sum of £17,608 was put through totalisatoi against £12,430 last year, an increase of £5/18 . The results are as follow : Karere Hurdles, If miles.— 5 J Pawson's Sam Pan, 9.3 (A. McFlynn) 1 ; 6 Aema, 9.0, 2; 1 Kauroa, 10.0,-3! Also ran.—7 Cornelian 10.3, 2 Leolanter 10.4, 3 Flingot 10.3, 3 Ngatimaru 9.3, .4 Eiya 9.4, 8 Tyrannic- 9.2. Eiya and Flingot fell at the second jump, but their riders escaped injury.
