DRAUGHTS CHAMPIONSHIP.
(By Telegraph. —Press Association.) ' ' GOB®, Last Night; The Australasian Draughts Championship was continued to-day. The first game between Gardiner and Hilliker this morning occupied 4£ houra, the <*are champion eventually, winning. Gardiner adopted his original line of play, getting into a position resembling Strickland's. Hilliker put up a great fight, when one man down but was, compelled to retire. The fourth game resulted in a draw. Both players are now equal. The final round started to-night.
