ANNIVERSARY SOCIAL.

I LANSDOWNE PRESBYTERIAN SUNDAY SCHOOL. PRESENTATION TO MR FALLA. A : vo<ry . enjoyable evening was 1 spent in the Lansdowne school on Friday night by the scholars and teachers of the Lansdowne Presbyterian Sunday School, accompanied by, their parents and friends, the occasion being the thir danniversary of the opening of the Sunday School, and 1 distribution of prizes. Tea was served at five o'clock ig* the grounds to the children, over seventy being present, and at a quarter to six to the considerable numbers of adult friends who had gathered together to bid farewell to Mr Falla, who had been superintendent of the school since its commencement four years ago, and under whose watchful care and' uintiring devotion the school has grown to "its present size and efficiency, with a roll number of over sc\ - enty. At seven o'clock all gathered together in the large infant room of the school, kindly granted' for the occasion by the Lan&downe School Committee. ■ ' During am interval in the musical programme tliat followed, the Oh airman (Rev. A. T. .Thompson) spoke in praise of the excellent work Mr Falla had accomplished as superintendent of the, school, 1 "and of the loss the school ' 'would sustain ; thrpugh his departure. The Rev.
