MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Wellington Land Board was held on Thursday. .]'. McCarthy waited on the board in explanation of his non-residence, on Section 7, Block VIII, Huanga-riifi. After hearing him, and tho opinion of meimhers, it nvsvs decided, to deal with the matter in committee at a. later date. The folhnvi.ng applications to transfer were approved on the usual conditions:—Sections la and 33, Blo"k 1.1 T, Mangaoue, B. Heady to John Algie; Section '2l. Block IV. Tnvnrun,' William John and G.' H. Eranpift to William and John Francis; Section 14, Block VITI, Puketoi, H. J. A. Murray to M. E-. Herbert; Section 22, Block XIV, Makui-i. W. M'Kenzic to E. S. Heckler (provided statement land held by transferee is satisfactory); 'Section 21, Block XIV, Makuri, W. M'Kenzie to E. S. Heckler (<snl>ject to lantfi held by transferee being satisfactory.) Other applications to transfer were considered, and it was resolved to take action a s noted under each case: — G-. E. S. Sargent to W. T. Keddell. Sub-lease of Section 22, Block" TV, Mount Conherws.— Approved. G. E. S. Sargent to E. W. Roworth. Sections 11 and 10b, Block TV. Mount Cci-berns. —Approved. ■S. Pm'-ker to T. Harris, Section C>.
