AMUSEMENTS.

THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. "WISTERIA MEMORIEES." Despite the inclemency of the weather last evening a large audience assembled at the T.P. Electric Theatre to .witness the second screening of the current programme. "Wisteria Memories," a Vita.graph. special, was a spliendid prison <story showing how a hardened, convict was recalled to memories o.f home by a piece of wisteria, and how it led to his pardon. "Sunshine," an lEssanay feature, was probably one of the best puifcon stories ever related per medium of the cinematograph, and was a masterpiece in the art of illusion printing. The story was very strong and appealing, and created a profound impression on the audience. The Kalem Company were represented in "Down the Ages," a story laid amidst Egyptian scenes, which showed some marvellous works of art, while unfolding a deep and appealing story. "A Soldier's Furlough" lentexcitement to the programme, .beino; a military drama. "The Terrible Teddy" was a humorous film from the Essanay studio portrayed in their usual fine istvle. Pathe Gazette and Gaummont Graphic supplied very interesting topical items. Other pictures of interest were "The Girl T Left Behind Me," "A WaJkine Stick." "Fixing of a.Flirt." and "The Belle of the Beach." This programme will be repeated to-night. To-morrow night another excellent change will be presented, while a big matinee \vill be given to-morrow afternoon.
