TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
N.EW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D..C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening wired as follows: The barometer has fallen Imv in the south, and the winds 'have changed to strong northerlies and westerlies in most parts of the country, with rain southward of .New Plymquth and Castlepoint; but fair to cloudy and hazy weather has prevailed in the north. Present indications, are for strong northerly wind.s, changing by west to south. Cloudy and unsettled weather, iwdth rain, is probable generally, and snow on higher levels, and colder weather following. The barometer hag & falling tendency everywhere ; hut a temporary rise is probable in the south.
