RULES AND CONDITIONS. 1. The Athletic Events will be run under the Rules of the New Zealar/1 Athletic Association. 2. Trotting Events will be run under the Rules of the New Zealand I'rotting Association. Every rider is to register at a fee of Is for the day. 3 Competitors in the Athletic Events must send in a list of performances for the past two years; if no wins, marks for starts from previous events must be stated. 4 Nominations for Eveuts Nos, 2, , 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 17 and 18, close with the secretary, E. Harrington, at noon on Wednesday, March 26th. 5. Acceptances for events Nos. 5 and 10 close with the secretary on Wednesday, April 2nd. G. Uo Nominations will be accepted without the Nomination Fee. . 7. Protests must be lodged with the secretary 10 minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d for athletic even.ts, and os for horse ovents, which will be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. 8.
