"Westeria Memories''' ig probably the 'best of a fine selection of dramas. It is a Vitagraph production, which ha,s met with pronounced approval wherever shown. "A Soldit-r's Furlough" is an excellent* military episode portrayed by the Lubin Co.'in their unassailable style. A private (Tom Adair) get s a ten day's furlough -to visit liis siek motlier who dies, and Torn has to return to his regiment. He leaves his younger brother Bob in care of Reoo, an old friend. The -same, day Reco is accosted by a squaw-man, who wants money, which is refused. The squaw-man gets assistance from Indians to rob the home. He tries to get tllie Indians to shoot Tom arr ! Reco, but they refuse, whereupon the squaw-man shoots and kills Bob. Reco finds Tom before ihe gets back to the fort, tand he returns and tracks the -squaw-man.- After a fea.rful fight on tihe side of a mountain, Tom choke s the assassin to death, and then, being half insane with grief, carries the'body to the fort and confesses his deed. "Sunshine" is a brilliant' story .by the TTssanay Co. "Down Through the Ages" is a very pathetic story by the Kalem Co. "Territjle Teddy" is an Essanny dra---ma of Western element. Pat-lie Gazette and, Gaumont Graphic will supply the latest in- topics. An interesting .subject will lie shown named the Manufacture of Walking Sticks. Some very fine comedy itein.s include ''Belle of' the Beach,'' "Fixing of a Filirt" and "The Girl I Left B?hind Me."
