DESPERATE INFANTRY BATTLE. •BULGARIANS DRIVEN BACK. - (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) r CONSTANTINOPLE, March 20. It is officially stated that a desperate infantry battle .occitaed at Chataldja, the, Turks engaging the Bulgarians. The whole line advanced for five .kilometres to the north of Derkos and occupied many strategical points HEAVY TURKISH LOSSES. • (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) SOFIA, March 20. Five divisions of Turks, at Chataldja, with artillery and cavalry, attempted to advance, supported by warships. They were surrounded and lost \ lieavily. J Two battalions were isolated- aJid were driven to the shore, where a portion escaped on the .ships. 13,000 SERVIANS. SAIL FOR SANGIOVANNI (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) SALONIKA, March 21. Sixteen transports,'with 13,000'SerTian Infantry aboard, sailed for Sangiovamri. % EIGHT NURSES KILLED. AT BOMBARDMENT OF SKUTARJ. (Received Last iNight, 5.5 o'clock.) Vienna, March 21. The newspaper reports that eight „ Italian nuns, acting as nurses, were \ killed, and several were wounded d«r- ---' ing the Skutari bombardment.
