Protests must he lodged with the secretary 10 minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d for athletic events, and os for horse events, which will be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. 8. The Committee reserve the right to postpone the Sports if the weather is unfavourable. 9. The Committee reserve the right to alter the order in which the event' will be run. 10. No first prze will be given unless three starters; no second prize unless five starters; no third prize unless seven starters. 11. No Nominated horses in trotting events will be allowed to gallop and run as pace-makers to competing horses. 12.
