GENERAL GODLEY.
The visit of General Godley, Commandant of the New Zealand Forces, to the Wairarapa for the purpose of making a flying tour through the district, inspecting Senior Cadet Companies en route, will be received with gratification by those who have at heart the interests of New Zealand's military system. In view of the-re-cent Territorial trouble in Masterton, the visit of the Chief Military of the Dominion should have effect of or eating added interest in military matters. The Cadets who were yesterday complimented by the General, will no doubt increase their efforts to excel in their training and efficiency, as a ' result of the manding Officer's encouraging words. There is little .room for doubt that visits from an officer of such standing as/General Qodlev will have a splendid effect, upon officers and men alike, and for this reason at. is to be hoped that the General will again, visit Masterton at an early date.
