Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening wired as follows: . i Tne barometer rose everywhere on luesday evening, with fair to cloudy weather and scattered showers. Moderate to strong westerly winds have prevailed, and conditions ar somewhat unsettled, both to the northern and westward of the Dominion. Present indications aire for moderate to strong westerly;winds with changeable weather, especially in the northern and southernmost districts, for a low pressure, due to pass in the south about Friday', and developments are , also probable in the north about " the same time, but a definite -forecast cannot'yet be issued.
