BRITAIN'S NAVY.
MEMORANDUM ISSUED. GENEROSITY OF DOMINIONS. (Received Last Night, 11.5 o'clock.) LONDON, March 11. A Naval Memorandum mentions tho generosity of the overseas Dominions. It shows that on April Ist there will bo eleven battleships, three battle cruisers, thirteen light cruisers, thirty-five destroyers, aind twenty submarine.?] wider construction, and with tlie completion of the present programme Britain will possess thirty-nine battleships, ' light cruisers, and 125 destroyers, as compared with German's twentysix, twenty, and 102 respectively. Thouh the estimates show an apparent increase of about a million and a quarter, on tlie previous year, there is actually a decrease, because the estimates include a revoke of £1,600,<X)0, w filch was unexpended.
