Events will be run •under the Rules of the New Zealand Athletic Association. 2. Trotting Events will be" run under the Rules of the New Zealand Trotting Association. Every rider is to register at a fee of Is for the day. 3 Competitors in the Athletic Events must send in a list of performances for the past two years; if no wins, marks for starts from previous events must be stated. 4. Nominations for Events Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 17-and 18, close with the secretary, E. Harrington, at noon on Wednesday, March 26th. 5. Acceptances for events Nos. 5 and 10 close with the secretary on Wednesday, April 2nd. 6. Uo Nominations will be accepted without the Nomination Fee, 7. Protests must be lodged with the secretary 10 'minutes after, the race,, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d for athletic events, and 5s for horse events, which will be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. 8. The Committee reserve the right to postpone the Sports if the weather is unfavourable. 9. The Committee reserve the right to alter the order in which the event will be run. 10. No first prze will be given unless three starters; no second prize unless five starters; no third prize unless seven starters. 11. No Nominated horses in trotting events will be allowed to gallop and run as pace-makers to competing horses. 12. All horse s competing in local events must he in the district 2 months prior to date of sports, and must be bona fide property of nominator. ADMISSION TO GROUND : Adults Is.
