WAIPOUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Jamets Macintosh and 00, report having 'held! their usual weekly sale in 'their Waipoua (Masterton)saleyard's on Wednesday, March 12th, when they had a very good sale of a' yarding well above advertised which they are pleased to report met with very ready competition, owing, ••■o d-mi.H, to the good -rain that has fallen the last two days. Buyers' wer? well represented from all over the district, and price"? realised were well above vendors' ideas. Amongst our entry we offered on account of a client* who has lately sold his station, several good lines of ewes; 670 ©wes realised 13s 2d', 402 efwes 10s 2d, 420 half bred ewes 9s, .197 halfbred ewes 6s Bd, 1000 woolly lambs 6s 3d. Oa account of Erl T. Williams Esq., Te Parae, 150 2-tooth ewes. wJiich brought the good! price of 16s Bd. On account Mrs Russell. Te Parae, 2-tooth ewes to 15s sd. MASTERTON STOCK SALE.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report: At Solway yesterday there was a goodi entry of sheep and. a good attendance of buyers. Bidding was considerably brisker than at the previous sale, and consequently the majority of the lines changed hands. Our entry consisted! principally of lambs, all of which wo sold 'Under the haiimner at the folio-w----ing rates: Fair conditioned black-face lambs 7s 6d to 7s fld, email lambs 6s 6d to 6s lOd. ' f Messrs Abraham* and Williams, Ltd., report on their- Masterton stock sale; held yesterday, a-s follows: We offered well over *IOOO sheep, which met a slightly better market than the previous week, but business at auction was not as animated as it might have been, and a couple of Inrrre lines of ewes were turned out unsold. The balance of the yarding was sold at prices slightly in favour of vendors. PAHIATUA STOCK SALE,

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Pahiatua sale, held on Tuesday, as follows: We offered an extra heavy yarding of bofchi sheep and cattle. There was about 5000 sheep, a good proportion being good sorts of breeding ewes, which, sold fairly well, as also did ' lambs. Vendors were prepared to meet the market and a large clearance was made. Quotations: Sheen. —Young ewes (2 and 4-tooth) 12s 9d to 14s, good ewes mixed ages Bs, 9s 6d, to 10s Bd. good s.m. ewes fts 4d to 9s 3d, f.m. ewes 5s Id to 6s 2d, medium lambs 6s, 6s lOd, to "s lid, fair lambs 4s 5d to 5s Bd, .small lambs 2s lOd to 3s 7d, 2-tooth wethers ]2s to 13s 3d.
