MASTERTON STOCK SALE.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report: At Solway yesterday there was a goodi entry of sheep and. a good attendance of buyers. Bidding was considerably brisker than at the previous sale, and consequently the majority of the lines changed hands. PAHIATUA STOCK SALE,

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Pahiatua sale, held on Tuesday, as follows: We offered an extra heavy yarding of bofchi sheep and cattle. There was about 5000 sheep, a good proportion being good sorts of breeding ewes, which, sold fairly well, as also did ' lambs. Vendors were prepared to meet the market and a large clearance was made.
