town hall lnerrit.ES. The Town Hall was well filhd last night to witness tho change of programme. (Chief among the dramas is Tho Shuttlo (> Fate, by the same- company that produced that great picture. The Count of Monte Cristo. Thrilling scenes are seen in tlus picture, including a terrible shipwreck in mnlocean. The Dance at Silver Gulch Hall is a very fine film. A dance is hold one night at the Silver Gulch |-hll and Joe Barker attends in company with Mildred, his sweetheart. One unwelcome guest is Jim Silver, who is an old sweetheart of Mildred s. Jim, on his wav home, accidentally shoots himself. A friend finds him, ard informs the sheriff, who suspects Joe, and sets out to find him. Joe is caimht and charged with the minder. Other dramas are: Mountain Dew (Tvalem). and Tragic Flirtation (Celio). The comedy side is well-nvo-vicY'd for in Luck at. the Red Inn, Fipiit for a Flirt. Pimple Ge+s a and Tony Would Be a Cowboy. The tonicals are Gaumont Graphic and Warwick Chroilicle.

BROTHER AND SISTER. Last evening saw another good audience to witness the second screening of the current programme. Brother and Sister, a 3000-foot drama, headed the list. Jt was an excellent Nordisk production with a well-work-ed theme, in which were included a forgery and a robbery, which led, to a wrongful accusation. A .splendidly worked lot of scenes lead up to a very pleasant finish. The Wavlarer is a Selig film of Western origin. It shows a ranchman and his wife living happily in the West. The man is injured and brought home by cowboys. The accident insurance company send him money for compensation. Pedro, a renegade, sees 'his wife counting the money, and -decides to steal it. He proceeds to do so at night, and 1 is discovered by the ranchman's wife, who lassoes him with a lariat and binds him to a chair. 'She leaves her sick husband to watch him, and rides for help. Her husband, however, falls in a faint, through weakness, and the renegade frees himself with the aid of a red-hot poker. A number of exciting incidents follow, which are terminated suddenly by the timely arrival of help. The Little Art-'st of the Market is a fine Edison drama, which met with general approval. When Father Had His Way is a Luhin Comedy of good length, featuring Miss Dimi Ha.wley. Other interesting films are: Training Elephants (scenic). Work in a. U.S.A. Arsenal (industrial). Ptudv iii Faces (conns sketching), and Agatha's Matrimonial Centure (comedy).

"THE FOLLIES." The Box Plan for "Tho Follies comany who appear in the Town Hall, tomorrow evening, is now open at the Dresden Coy., Masterton, Numerically, "The Follies" is the strongest company of its kind that has appeared in this town, and in talent their credentials show that they will compare more favourably with any of their kind. The press everywhere is unanimous in its praises of the all-round excellence of the company, whose entertainment comprises the latest gems from comic and grand opera, part singing, solos, duets, trips, quartets, burlesques, dancing, and sketches, in fact, all turns which go to make up a fir.st-cla.ss and popular entertainment. Special attention is devoted-to the costuming .and staging of the items prcsetnted by "The Follies." their class of entertainment is one which has been proved to be popular with the local audiences, and as "The Follies" come so accredited they should be sure of the patronage of the public. i
