BULGARIA AND SERVJA. SOME EXPLANATIONS WANTED. (Received March 10, 8 a.m.) SOFIA, March 9. The Government is seeking explanations at Belgrade in reference to the Servians expelling the manager of the Bulgarian National Bank at Moilastir.

BOMBARDMENT Of 1 ADR IA XOPLE BULGARIA NS CHECK ED. LOSS OF JANINA. (Received Last Niirht, 10.5 o'clock.) CONSTANTINOPLE, March 10. Adria.nople was bombarded on Thursday and Friday, but matters were quiet on Saturday. The artillery at Bnlair checked the Bulgarian advance from Kurnchiilik, inflicting loss. The Bulgarians fired on the cruiser Torgut on Friday, which ultimately silenced the land batteries. A Bulgarian aeroplane dropped a bomb at Bulair, which caused no damage. The loss of .Taninn has created a painful impression.

SHEVKET PASHA. RESIGNATION RUMOUREI). .MEMORIAL TO SAYAM PASHA. (Received This Morning, 12.15 o'clock.) LONDON, March 10. The Chronicle's Constantinople correspondent states that it is rumoured that Shevket Pasha intends to resign. Crowds attended a memorial service at the Suleimaeis Mosque to the late ■ Nazim Pasha. There were Ipud cries of "Vengeance on the murderers."
Twenty-five officers attending the service were arrested.
