SUPERFLUOUS HAIR. Few tilings are more annoying 'to refined and sensitive ladies than superfluous hair on any part of the face or body, and it is with real picasreceived from a reader who states rliat by its use she in a very short timo completely and permanently removed a stubborn growth of hair from licr upper lip and chin. This recipe calls for ifj drams Pulverised Sulthine Concentrate, 2\ drams Zinc Oxide, P.B. and 1 dram of powdered Orris Hoot, which should bo thoroughly mixed and put in a wide mouth bottle. For use, mix a little of the powder into a paste on a plate by adding a few drops of water. Apply with a narrow knife blade and remove at the >nd of two minutes with the back of the knife, when tho dissolved hair will come with it. Repeat at intervals of two days. Each time the growth will be less, until it entirely disappears. V good non-greasy ore.im i such as Oromo To-Kalon, may be used after ?ach application. Caution. —Gentlemen must hot use this as a substitute- for shaving, as its repeated use completely destroys the hair roots.
