WEDDINGS.
MUNiN—THRUPP. 2H An interesting and pretty weddirifl was celebrated at St. Matthew*™ Church, Masterton, yesterday, when. Miss Lucy Thrupp, youngest daughter of Mr aiid Mrs Thrupp, of Mauriceville, was married to Mr Ed-ward Munn, son of Mr and. Mrs J. Munn, Renall street, Masterton. The Rev. AVatson was the officiating clergyman. The bride, who was given away by Mr J. S. Pin hey, of Masterton, was handsomely attired in a dress of white Japanese silk, trimmed with silk insertion, .spotted net and orange blossom sprays, with tlio usual veil and orange blossoms. The bride was attended by Misses Hetty Taylforth, Kaituna, and Alice Pinhey, Wellington, as bridesmaids, who were prettily dressed in muslin trimmed -with insertion, and wore> black picture hats. The best man was Mr H. Davis, Christchurch, and Mr Sidney Munn was groomsman. After the wedding ceremony, a reception was held in the Exchange Tea .Rooms, where a large party sat down to the wedding breakfast. Numerous useful and valuable presents were received. Mr and Mrs Munn left by the afternoon train for Wellington, en route for Christchurch, where their future Ame will be.
STUDLEY—BAILEY
A quiet wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church, Masterton, yesterday, when Mr Herbert Studley, of Masterton, was united in matrimony with Miss Elizabeth Bailey, who recently arrived from the Old Country. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Hampton, in the unavoidable absence of the Rev. H. Watson. The happy couple left by the eveningtrain for the north, where tho honeymoon is to bo spent.
