Won by four lengths. Time, smin ol isee. Ascot. Vale Stakes. —Andelosia, 8.10, 1; Quair "Burn, 8.7, 2;' MaitravcM's, 9.6, 3. Won cleverly by half a neck. Time, limn losec AUSTRALIAN CUP.
Almissa ] Cadonia -j Piastre 3 Uxbridge showed the way into the ■straight from Riflian. Diabolo, Wilari. and Flavian. Passing tlio judge's box tlio order was Uxbridge, two lengths in front of Riffian, "followed by Diabolo, Wilari, Flavian, Punka, Barios and Piastre. Seven furlongs from homo Uxbridge just led from Riffinn, tho next being Flavian, Diabolo, Wilari and Pia-stre. Puaka took command at tho five-furlong po-st with Piastre in attendance, and Almissa also making a forward move and deposing Puaka at the entrance to the straight. At tlio .distance Almissa was under the whip but still led, and in a good finish won by a length, Cadonia. beating Piastre" bv I three-quarters of a length. Uxhridgew as fourth, then came. Barb*.
