TODAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (Bp Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening wired as follows: — The barometric pressure is '-still high in the north, but has fallen in the south, and unsettled weather has been experienced in southern districts. The conditions are apparently very stormy in the higher latitudes, but fair to cloudy weather lias been reported generally over the Dominion. Present indications are for stormy northerly and westerly winds; unsettled find showery weather probably on the West Coast and in south districts of the South Island, and fair to more cloudy weather generally. Barometer unsteady in the south, and a temporary rise there is likely to precede a further fall. The barometer has a falling tendency generally.
