AMATEUR ATHLETICS
ON THE PARK OVAL. On the Park Oval, Masterton, the Wairarapa Amateur Athletic Club continued its evening meetings last evening, wlien two events over IfiOvds and 440 yds were got off. The weather was fine and the tracks .in fast order. The running was interesting. The results are as follow: 100 Yards Handicap.—First heat: .T. Bradbury (10yds) 1, R. Messenger (4vds) 2, J. Vesrty (Byds) 3. Time, 10 2-;>sec. Second hea't: G. Hood (10 yds) 1, R. McKenzie (7yds) 2, Millar (11yds) 3. Time, 10 3-ssec. Final: G. Hood 1, R. McKenzie 2, I{. Messenger 3. 440 Yards Handicap.—J. Bradbury 1, R. McKenzie 2, C. La Roche 3.
