GARDEN PARTY
AT LANSDOWNE. The garden party Held at tb e residence of Mr P. L. Boilings at Lansdowne yesterday, in aid of the organ fund of the Lansdowne Presbyterian. Church, was highly successful. Tlio weather was beautifully fine, and this induced a large number , of people to - proceed to the pretty grounds, where* croquet, lawn tennis and various other games were indulged in. Refreshments were provided during the afternoon. A fancy stall in charge of Mesdames Barr and iGosnell did good business, as did also a sweets stall in charge of Misses Rayner and Ross. The Ladies' Guild, .by whom the function was arranged, are to be congratulated upon the success that attend, ed their efforts.
