NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. b (Bi> Tdeyraph. —Fress Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night The Rev. D. C. Bates, of ; tho Meteorological Office, this evenuig issued the following:— Ilain fell in parts on Tuesday night, but fair to cloudy weather has prevailed to-day, with variable winds. The .barometer now shows a tailing tendency everywhere. Present in creations are for winds changing bv west ' to northerly, and increasing especially southward of New Plymouth and Napier Fair to cloudy weather, with . iand" and hazy conditions, generady, and rain following .shortly on the Coast and southern districts ol the South Island. The barometer will 'be falling everywhere, and especially in,the'smith.
