INTERNATIONAL PICTURES.
THE KNIGHTS OF RHODES
A large -audience witnessed the second screening of the current programme at the Town Halt last opening. Tho star feature is a- 2300 feet Ambrosia war drama, The Knights of Rhodes. This tine plioto-play depicts how 5000 Christian warriors withstood the assault of 100,000 Turks. The whole forms a series of striking ta > leaux, -showing the eternal conflict between Cross and Crescent, made the subject of a- superbly staged and thrilling film subject. My Hero is a clever story of tho Wild West, m which two youthful lovers create a great deal of excitement by running away.from their homes just prior to an Indian rising. The Moving I< itiger is an interesting study of the desires of a wicked woman. Onco Upon a Time is a delightful fairy drama by the Cities Company. There will ::lso >be shown the latest Caumont Graj pliic and Warwick Chronicle, showing all the latest doings of interest abroad. Chips Off tho Old Block is a. Kalem comedy that cannot _ fail to arouse laughter. Polidor Without a Collar, Juggins on Motor Skates, etc. i This programme will be screened lor the last time to-night. There wiU be no pictures at the Town Hall on Wednesday and Thursday, as the hall is otherwise engaged, THOMPSON-PAYEE'S PICTURES. NAPOLEON AT ST. HELENA. To-night, will see the last .screening of the current programme at the 'I.-P. Electric Theatre. Napoleon at Sr. Helena, tho main item of this series, is a really fine production by tho Edison Company, and does not fail to impress one. Tricked into Happiness is a very pretty story by tho Lubin Company. The Ranchman's Debt of •Honour is a Melies drama of Western element. A Romance of the Coast, a Lubin drama, is a fine seasido story with thrilling incidents to greatly enhance a pretty love story. Shell-fish is a most effective and interesting study by the Ganmont Company. Pa the Gazette supplies all the latest topics including the ever-interesting Paris fashions. Other films' of interest are Where's Baby? Wire-rope Making;, Isle of Man, A .Double Courtship, The Chauffeur, and -A Palace of Mystery. To-morrow there will be another complete change of programme when .some very fine subjects will be showh.
