TODAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (LV Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of tho Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following:— Southerly winds, with cold and slwwery weather, have been experienced in most parts, with heavy rain on the East Coa.st of the South Island and about Cook Strait. The barometer rose everywhere on Saturday sild Sunday. Present indications are for cool and changeable weather gerteially, with rain in southern districts, and scattered showers in many other parts of the country. South-westerly winds, moderately strong, are probable generally, with a slowly rising barometer. The pressure is unsteady, however, in the south, and a westerly squall .area is [ikely to pass there soon.
