INTERNATIONAL PICTURES. SHOW PROGRAMME. To-night will see the last appearance at'the Town Hall of the present programme. Principal amongst the attractions of this series is the dramatisation of Tennyson's well-known poem, "The Lady of Shalott." There is no doubt that if Tennyson had lived to see thi, s particular exposition of his work in the picture world he would have marked his approval of ic. Delightfully dealt with, the theme is treated in* such a manner that the story is really beautiful. It is a picture that no one with a poetic turn of mind should miss. The matinee will take pir.ee a* usual on Saturday afternoon, when, a"special programme will be screened for the children. THE LION TAMER'S REVENGE. Last night saw another large audience at the T.-P. Electric Theatre to witness tho current programme, when The Lion-Tamer's Revenge auam proved a very popular item. This is a powerful and highly .sensational story in which lions play an important part and cause many a Love, jealousv and revenge are the ingredients in this splendid drama, that are instrumental in its development, the finale being a real sensation that cannot fail to thrill. Together is a very pretty plav bv the Lubin Company, in which Miss Ormi Hawley plays the lead. Captain of the Nancy Lee is a splendid comedy-drama by the Seng Company and k a story of a pocuh.iv story at'sca. A Passion Flowev ik an Edison conception also having a rather humorous strain. Several splendid peonies include Trinidad, Land of Bonnie Prince Charlie, Mountain Railway of Bavaria, and Dreamland City The comedies ar o a good lot, and include: Felix at the Ball. Amorous Arthur, awl Brown Has a Hay Off. On Saturday there will be. a special programme shown at the matinee only. For Saturday night Napoleon at St.* Helena will form one of the i-.ain features of the programme, this film- - being a masterpiece of cinematography.
