FAT STOCK FAIR-. Messrs Abraham and Williams 3 Limited, report having conducted ail exceptionally succes-yiul sale of fat stock on Solway showgrounds yesterday afternoon,' when they submitted a largo entry of extra prime sheep and cattle to a largo attendance of buyers, who wero mostly confined to tlio freezing companies, who competed .vtrcngly for the various lots of sheep submitted. it was agreed on all sides that tlu) exhibition of beef was equal, if not superior, to any put together in tho Australasian colonies, and the bulk of this we offered at auction', the principal buyers being Wellington Meat Export, F. Fairey, of Nelson, T. W. MeKonzie, and Messrs Ogi Ivy and Sons. Ml* G. F. Moore, Ivai Iwi, disposed of the whole of his entry under the hammer, and Messrs W. il. and Hugh Bee than! also practically j'ubniitted their total entry, all of which made very satisfactory prices.
