NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. Qiv Teleyrupk.—tress Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev.- D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following:— A small area of low; pressure passed southward of New Zealand on Monday night, and the weather has improved to-day, while the winds are now moderate and variable. The barometer rose in the south this morning, but the conditions are still threatening. Present indications are for a further fall in the barometer and probably fast in the south shortly. Increasing haze and cloudiness, warm and humid conditions, preceding rain, in most parts of the country. Northerly winds predominating and increasing in force everywhere soon.
