SERIOUS ACCIDENT
TO HON. E. MITCH.ELSOX. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night. A serious accident befel the Hon F. Mitehelson on Saturday. Mr Mitehelson was waiting for the train after the Takapuna show. The approaching train frightened his horse, which bolted, throwing Mr Mitehelson against tho engine. Mr Mitchelson's left leg was broken, the small bone of his left wrist fractured, and lie .sustained numerous severe cuts, together with internal injuries. A boy and woman were also knocked down by the horse, hut were not seriously injured.
