SOLWAY SHOW
What luis been described as tha event of the year as Jar as the Wan rarapa is concerned, will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday next, when the JVlasterton A. and P. -Association's annual show wiil be held on the beautiful Solwav grounds. Tha entries which compare very favourably with those of last year, £iro re-, preventative of all classes of agricultural and pastoral life. The' stocK exhibitors include the loading breed-i ers of the Dominion while the standard. reached in all other sections i 3 the equal of any in New Zealand, Iho jumping competitions, which are always fi iS-oui'oo of att Taction y have attracted tho best jumping horses in the North Island, and! Keen contests and high-class exhibitions of jumping are assured. The grounds have undergone many improvements since last year, and itf may now be safely said that no mora up-to-date and better appointed grounds exist in New Zealand to-day. On the. two succeeding days the ani nual ram fair will lie. held, the entries for which total 2525. as against. 2-563 at last year's fair. The entries comprise lots i roiii the foremost stud flocks of the Dominion, and arc pure* to attract wide attention. The train: arrangements, which are advertised in. this issue, are complete in every detail, and will ensure the public comfortable 1 . conveyance to and from the grounds. The number of trains running backwards and forwards will prevent any waiting or undue crowding. Good weather is all that is necessary to ensure a record success for the Rolwav show of 1913.
