The Wairarapa Amateur Swimming Club will hold'a 75 yards handicap in the Park Lake this evening, commencing at 0.45 o'clock .sharp, for trophies presented by Mr W. J. Clarkson. Jarrett, J. Evans and C. Hofft'ins I. THE FttirrHCOMJNG CARNIVAL. ' A meeting of the Masterton Ladies' Swimming Club Committee was held yesterday afternoon," Mrs J. Jt was decided that the Cup presented by Mr Aitkcn, the dub's delegate in Wellington, be allotted to ; the winner gaining the most points in j all the races, the Cmi to he won outI right in two years, o r three years at intervals. It was decided to admit men at the carnival. Entries from all parts of the Dominion have been promised, and given fine weather, the success of the carnival is assured.
