The Daily Xews' Constantinople correspondent reports that the situation ther-o- is extraordinary. Business is at a, standstill, and there are many fires in the city. The inhabitants are indulging in amusement and pleasure and paying no heed to the war. Cholera has broken out on the Asiatic shoro. GOVERNMENT IN DESPERATE STUAITS. The Government is in desperate straits for money, and is compelling rich merchants to subscribe, and the Crown jewels have been hypothecated. A POSITION CAPTURED. Other reports state that the Turks sorticd on Sunday, and captured, at the bayonet's point, the Bulgarian position at Dalidenhills, inflicting severe, loss. The troops at Chataldeja have joined forces at Papazbougas and occupied the heights to westward. IMAGINARY VICTORIES. THE BULGARIAN VERSION. (Received Last Night 11.30 o'clock.) SOFIA, February 12. The Government has ironed a statement declaring the Turks to be inventing imaginary victories, and states that thorn was no important engagement at Chataldeja, while 15,,000 Turks were killed and mounded at Bulair. The Bulgarians have already buried SKOO Turks, while 3000 corpses are still scattered on the field.
