TODAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (Bu Telegraph. — Fress Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Ofiiee, this evening issued the following:—• The barometer is now lowest about Kaikoura, and is rising slowly at the Bluff. Moderate to strong vesterly winds have prevailed in the north, and southerly winds, strong to gale, now predominate, in the south. Rain has fallen in many parts of the South Island, and cloudy weather has prevailed in the north. Present indications are for strong southerly winds predominating everywhere soon, with unsettled, showery and colder weather probable everywhere, ard a rising barometer.
