NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. ; The Rev. I). C. Bates, of tlio Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following:— ■Rain ha« fallen on tlio West Coast of the -South Island, and cloudy and misty weather lias prevailed with increasing northerly winds' and a falling barometer. A westerly storm area is now enveloping the Dominion. Present indications are for high northerly winds, Veering soon by west to .southerly. Cloudy and unsettled •weather is. probable generally, with rain and colder weather following. The barometer is likely to ('all further, but rise rapidly after about 24' hours.
