ALLEGED EMBEZZLEMENT
(By Teh'ijraph.—Fress Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. At a. special sitting of the Rangiora Magistrate's Court to-day, Frederick Wilton Pradshaw was charged with that on January 6th, 1912, at Rangiora, lie received from A. T. George the sum of '£4o 9s lid on terms requiring him.to account for the same, or pay it to tlio Canterbury and N.Z. Seed Co., Ltd., and he failed to s.o account or pay the same. The accused was further charged that on Semptember 10th, 1912. he so received the tsum of £'29 ]os from James Younac. and on July 2-1 th. 1912. the sum of £2O from Pert Heal, and had neither paid nor accounted for either sum. Accused was remanded for a week*.
