TODAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (Bi> 'Telegraph.—'Fress Association.) . WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of tho Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following:— Warm and fair weather has prevailed with much smoke and haze in' all parts of the country. The winds have been variable, but moderate to strong northerly breezes now predominate, and the barometer has a falling tendency. Present indications are for increasing haze and cloudiness, with freshening northerly winds and a falling barometer everywhere. Rain is probable soon on the West Coast and southern districts of the South Island, and more unsettled weather following generally.
