A SUCCESSFUL BEGINNING (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, February 8. The House of Commons, in committee, agreed to the provisions contained in the Supplementary Estimates for the Insurance Act. The Right Hon. D. Lloyd ■ Georgo declared that the Act had made an extraordinarily successful beginning. Fourteen million were paying contributions; five thousand receiving sanatoria treatment; and 13,000 doctors were working.
