Messrs James Mackintosh and Co. report having held their usual '.sale in their Waipoua, (Master-ton) Sale Yards on Wednesday sth February when they offered a small yarding of cattle and sheep to a good number of buyers and every lot '.sold under the hammer. Lambs 8s 4d, Short Romney Lambs-8s lOd, Cull Lambs ■ls Id, 2-tooth Ewes a.nd Wethers 12s Id, store ewes 9s 9d, woolly owe .Lambs 8s Bd, Cow and Calf £ 1 .1 Is, Springing Cow £7, 2-year Heifers in calf £4, Empty Cows £4. PAHFATUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows: At our Pahiatua. sale on 4th inst., we offered a fair yarding of sheep and cattle. The demand for all classes of stock was only limited, and a fair amount was passed out unsold. Tho continuation of the strike is no doubt accountable for tho dullness of the market.
