A GERMAN HOAX
DISMISSED OFFICIAL PROVES HIS SANITY. BUT IS ARRESTED FOR LESE MAJESTE. (Reoeived Last Night, 8.10 o'oic BERLIN, February 6. A telegram was received at Stra-H----burg, -siMhig that His Imperial Highness the Kaiser was arriving at midday, to witness a test alarm parade of tho. garrison. The Commander-in-Chief mustered the troops on tho drill grounds, including Prince Joachim, of Prussia. The town was decorated, and great crowds waited four hours, when a telephone message revealed the fact that the telegraphed announcement was a hoax. It has since been found that Heir "Keller, formerly of the Paymaster's Department, and recently court-mar-tiallcd and dismissed from the service as not responsible for 'hi,s actions, had, in order to demonstrate that he was in fidl possession of his faculties, disguised himself as a postal official, and delivered the telegram. Ho has been arrested on a charge of lose mnjesto.
