NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. {By Telegraph—Fret* Auoeiation.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, tuts evening issued the following:— Westerly windt* prevailed, with stormy weather, last night in Cook and Fouveaux .Straits. The barometer has fallen generally, and the pressure is lowest in the South. Present indications are for high westerly winds, veerijig to southerly everywhere shortly. Expect colder and squally weather, with heavy showers in most parts of the Dominion. The barometer will probably rise everywhere after about sixteen hours.
