AMENDMENTS WORSE THAN OSBORNE JUDGMENT. (Received Last Night, 10.40 o'clock.) LONDON, January 30. Mr G. J. "Wardle's amendment to the Trades Union Bill, conferring power on the Registrar of Friendly Societies to redress the grievances of members of the union where there has been a breach of the rules «as adopted. Some Labourites declared that the amendment is worse than the Osborne judgment. Sir Rufus Isaacs moved to make the Registrar's decision conclusive, without an appeal to the law courts. Tliis amendment, as well as that of Mr Wardle, was carried without division.
