NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Ttlegraph—Prw Aiiociation.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev D. 0. Bates, of the Metfltxrological Office, this evening issued the following: — The barometer is now low in the south, and strong northerly and westerly winds have been experienced. Cloudy weather has extended over most parts of the Dominion, and rain has fallen on the West Coast. - Present indications are for high northerly and westerly winds, veering to southerly probably in about twentyfour to "thirty-six hours. A further decrease in the barometric pressure is to be expected before a decided rise takes place, on about Saturday afternoon. Cloudy and unsettled weather, with, rain, is probable' gonerally.
