LAYING OK THREE KEELS. (Received Last Night, 0.0 o clock.) SYDNEY, January 26. The dockvard at Cockatoo Island was yesterday handed over by New South Wales to the. Commonwealth. The understanding-is that 11: wtll be available for repairing ships be.ion.gvng to any section of the Empire s navy. The ceremony ef laving three keels for the Australian Navy was also performed. Two torpedo boat destroyers will.be named the, Derwent and' Torrens, and a protected cruiser the Brisbane. Mr Pearce.
